Should I have to bring someone with me?

Yes. You need to have a caregiver with you upon discharge.? In some cases, for example if you are a Primary Rhinoplasty patient you need to have somebody looking after you for 24 hours following the surgery.? But if you are a Secondary Rhinoplasty patient, it is required to have 48 hours supervision of a caregiver.

Can I resume my daily activities after the operation?

You need to wait for about two weeks for you to begin your daily routine activities like exercising, and doing light houshold chores. Just start gradually and slowly increase your routine over time. Those patients who have a rib graft should not do exercises that cause pain and discomfort on the affected area. However, exercises like walking, and jogging may start by the third week.

What are the limitations or restrictions after surgery?

After one week of operation, the patient can go to school or work, once the cast is removed. There can be some swelling around the area and the eyes. But this is just normal, it will subside after few a days.
